Alana Cunningham | Founder/Head Coach

Chicago native, Alana Cunningham, has a wealth of experience in aquatics as she has been a lifelong competitive swimmer following her time on the Junior Olympic swim track.   Alana has been teaching/coaching swimming since her high school days and even beforehand when she volunteered to teach the junior swim team at her country club (Oak Brook Bath and Tennis) in Oak Brook, Illinois.  She has had quite a career in swimming from being trained by the best of the best at Northwestern University to Elmhurst High School, only being detailed by a shoulder injury.

After she graduated from high school, Alana went to Carroll College and became one of Carroll College’s football team's student athletic trainers.  When it was off-season, you could find Alana in the pool teaching swimming to young kids at Carroll.  She is excited to share her passion for aquatics and knowledge to the Helena community and, at the same time, can offer a program like this to the Helena community.
